The ASEMlab is a contemporary laboratory of the Department of Manufacturing and Civil Engineering (IVB), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Gjøvik, Norway.
ASEMlab has been established by Prof. Sotirios Grammatikos, in 2018, through the Research Group of Sustainable Composites of NTNU. The ASEMlab aims at research and education in processing, testing, characterization, recycling, modelling and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of renewable materials, polymers, advanced composites, nanocomposites, smart functional materials used in the civil, automotive, aerospace and marine engineering sectors.
The ASEMlab is envisaged to become the core of the Norwegian Composites Research. Members of ASEMlab are active in both national and international research programmes and clusters.

It is a hub for renewable materials, polymers, advanced composites, nano-composites, smart multifunctional materials and other engineering materials research.
